John Samatchai

John emigrated from Thailand in 1988 and brought with him a lifelong passion for tailoring that began when he started training at just 12 years old. As the only master tailor in the region, he became a well-known and trusted figure in Auburn, serving the community with his expert craftsmanship and supportive care for more than 32 years.

Working from a single room in his home, John built a reputation for precision, quality, personal service, and values that continue to inspire us today. Even after his retirement in 2024, customers still come by asking about him, a true testament to the lasting mark he made on this community.
